I'm Michael Vaughn, a father to two amazing little girls, a proud partner, and a professional speaker. When the pandemic struck and our first child came into our lives, I turned to TikTok to share my parenting journey and find a sense of community. As a father, I've found my passion in presenting and training other dads and parents to become the best they can be. Join me in exploring the joys and challenges of raising two toddlers, discussing important topics, and even diving into the wonderful world of the hit Australian cartoon Bluey.

PROFESSIONAL WORK

Before the pandemic, my main focus was giving presentations and training sessions to businesses, schools, and organizations on topics like social media awareness, creating awesome PowerPoint presentations, the importance of maker education, and designing courses that everyone can enjoy.

I’ve worked in higher ed and instructional technology for over 15 years helping instructional designers, LMS admins, faculty, staff, and students find new and meaningful ways to use technology to enhance their teaching and learning. I’ve also collaborated with subject matter experts, faculty and instructional designers to design and develop fully online courses, presented for high school and college audiences on social media and educational technology, lead training sessions on how to design presentations that don’t suck, and have a background in faculty training for e-learning technologies.

Presenting and training are passions of mine. I love using comedy to talk about social media and how it affects our lives, our learning, and our future. I’ve done this in front of over 50,000 people in the past decade.
